K. (Keith) Allen Cross is a retired Navy veteran who served in the submarine force. While in the USN,
he wrote humorous articles for unofficial ships' newspapers. Other hobbies

Edward Eaton has studied and taught at many schools in the States, China, Israel, Oman, and France,
and holds a PhD in Theatre History and Literature. He has worked as
a theater director and fight choreographer, been a newspaper columnist and theater
critic, and has background in playwriting. An avid SCUBA diver and skier,
he resides in Boston with his wife Silviya and son Christopher. Publications include:

Sherry D. Ficklin can often be found haunting the racks at her local bookstore with a hot chocolate
in one hand and a stack of books in the other. A former military brat, and later
military wife, she grew up all over the country. She lives in Colorado with
her husband, four children, two dogs, and an ever fluctuating number of chickens

Pat Gaines worked 22 years in the Lincoln County, Oklahoma courthouse until her retirement
in 2003. She loves to teach the Bible, read, and watch movies. She
and her husband, Jerry, have two children and three grandchildren. Her interest

Chet Taylor is a Navy veteran and a graduate of Oklahoma City University with a degree in fine

Donna M. Zappala is a children's book author with a BA in Elementary Education and Psychology. She

Carol Davis Gustke was an author, a part-time lay hospital chaplain, and mother of
four grown boys. Carol passed away in the summer of 2009. Our condolences

has taught writing at the community college level, and has worked as

Teresa Farrington is the owner of Caricature Creations by the Okie Artist. As a freelance artist, her work incorporates computer technology, hand-painting,

David Simon is a children's illustrator and writer from sunny Cleveland, Ohio.
His artwork has appeared on everything from children's magazines and books
to greeting cards and wallpaper borders. David has had stories published
in Highlights Magazine, and his picture book manuscript was the Grand Prize Winner
in the 2000 Writer's Digest Writing Competition. David is the illustrator of
