While Phoebe is very easy to identify and sympathize with, Alex is bound to leave the reader breathless with pulses racing! Branson has shown exceptional talent for storytelling, enmeshing spirituality and suspense so well in a tale about a woman's fight to defy the odds and emerge victorious.
