Children's color paperbacks (plus some DFP Books genre fiction and non-fiction titles) are now available wholesale through Createspace Direct (click here) (a division of Amazon.com).

GENRE FICTION & NON-FICTION HARDBACKS:
DFP Books catalog catalog Genre Fiction and Non-Fiction hardback editions have black/white (B/W) interiors on either cream or white paper. Clothbound hardback editions have foil-stamped spines and include full-color dust jackets. Casebound hardback editions have full-color covers laminated onto the boards and are ready for library shelves. Casebounds have standard barcodes on the back cover, and clothbounds have barcodes on the dust jackets. Some hardback editions are available wholesale through Ingram Book Group. GENRE FICTION & NON-FICTION PAPERBACKS:
DFP Books catalog Genre Fiction and Non-Fiction paperback editions have black/white interiors on cream or white paper. Paperbacks are perfect-bound (i.e. glued) with standard cover lamination and barcodes on the back covers. Available retail channels include Amazon, Createspace, and DFP Bookstore. CHILDREN'S COLOR HARDBACKS:
Kittycat Books catalog Children's Picture Book color hardbacks are 8.5x11 trim laminated casebounds with barcodes printed on the back covers or dust jackets. Interiors are printed in full-color on library quality paper. Children's color hardbacks are available retail from the DFP Bookstore (as copies are in stock) and 24/7 in any quantity from Qoop.com. EAN-13 vs. ISBN-10:
As of January 1, 2007, the book industry began to switch from 10-digit ISBNs to 13-digit EANs. Over time as book editions are updated in various printing and distribution systems, the 10-digit ISBNs will phase out in favor of the 13-digit EAN/ISBNs. Both numbers represent the same book. When in doubt about which number to use, search by a book's title, author, and/or current publisher. Some retailer databases also refer to the EAN/ISBN as an ASIN or SKU.

STANDARD ABBREVIATIONS:
ASIN = Assigned Standard Identification Number [In-House product code]
EAN = International Article Number (13-digits) [Originally: European Article Number]
ISBN = International Standard Book Number (10-digits) [books]
ISSN = International Standard Serial Number [periodicals]
SKU = Stock Keeping Unit [In-House product code]
UPC = Universal Product Code

EBOOK EDITIONS:
At this time, DFP Books genre fiction titles are available in the following primary eBook editions: Adobe PDF, Mobi PRC (Kindle), EPUB, Sony LRF, and Palm PDB. Kittycat Books children's picture books are available in full-color 6x8 Adobe PDF.

ADOBE PDF EBOOKS:
Adobe PDF eBooks contain no DRM (Digital Rights Management), which makes them perfect for reading from multiple devices. PDFs are best read on larger eReaders (especially the NOOK), tablets, laptops, and of course desktops. PDFs present the most "print like" reading experience. They are easy to handle, easy to use, and look great. At this time, all of our genre fiction and children's picture books are available in PDF ebook editions through our Fastspring partner.

EPUB EBOOKS:
EPUB editions are basic text files meant to be read primarily on devices with smaller screens and limited available memory. At this time, EPUBs are the default files of choice for many popular devices, including NOOK (one of the best readers on the market) and all Apple devices. Because EPUB is a non-standard format (as in there are many programming versions), what works on one distributor's device might not work on another one's. At this time, our genre fiction EPUBs are available through the following retailers: Barnes & Noble Nook, Smashwords, Diesel, Kobo, and Apple iTunes.

KINDLE EBOOKS:
Amazon Kindle uses is a rich-HTML file type called Mobi. These files make great looking eBooks, which are only surpassed in print-edition likeness by PDFs. Genre fiction Kindle editions are available through Amazon.
