EAN-13 vs. ISBN-10:
As of January 1, 2007, the book industry began to switch from 10-digit ISBNs to 13-digit EANs. Over time as book editions are updated in various printing and distribution systems, the 10-digit ISBNs will phase out in favor of the 13-digit EAN/ISBNs. Both numbers represent the same book. When in doubt about which number to use, search by a book's title, author, and/or current publisher. Some retailer databases also refer to the EAN/ISBN as an "SKU."

GENRE FICTION & NON-FICTION HARDBACKS:

Clothbound hardback editions have foil-stamped spines and include full-color dust jackets. Casebound hardback editions have full-color covers laminated onto the boards and are ready for library shelves. GENRE FICTION & NON-FICTION PAPERBACKS:
DFP Books catalog Genre Fiction and Non-Fiction paperback editions have black/white interiors on cream or white paper. Paperbacks are perfect-bound (i.e. glued) with standard cover lamination and barcodes on the back covers. Available retail channels include Amazon, Createspace, and DFP Bookstore. CHILDREN'S COLOR HARDBACKS:
