CHAPTER 1 [excerpt]: "OUCH!" Grace Archer complained, pulling her head from between James' hands and falling forward into the soft grass of Faerie. It had been months since the battle with Lilith had left her resurrected with weird god-like powers. She had used those powers, the Roth de Shar they called it, to bring Chris back from death, and to destroy Lilith and her cohorts. Except for Samael, she thought, grinding her teeth. I need your complete attention or we'll never get you fixed and we'll never be able to track Samael." Grace was still fuzzy on how her jacked-up powers of premonition were going to help them track down the little worm, but she was all for it. Part of her wanted nothing more than to find Samael and flay him alive. He had, after all, been the one who betrayed the Guardians and handed James to Lilith for torture to get Grace's location.
